We joined LAP SW Trust in September 2022 and have become part of the North Cornwall Hub of schools. This has allowed us to review and revise our curriculum offer for children at Jacobstow Community Academy .
We have created a two year rolling programme, with half termly subject foci for our younger children and a four year rolling programme and half termly subject foci for our KS2 children.
As we focus upon each curriculum subject area, we adopt the trust wide subject intent statement which helps to underpin the teaching and learning in this area.
Our curriculum is a developing area of our school offer for all children. We are excited by the prospects of working alongside our local North Cornwall schools to create a curriculum which is relevant and meaningful to our local area.
